Mammography

This procedure is done in a standing position. With the help of a technician, one breast is placed on a plastic plate attached to the mammogram machine. The machine will flatten your breast between two plates to take X-ray pictures of the breast tissue from different angles. You will feel some pressure. These steps are repeated on the other breast.
